Travel Sales Consultant
If you’re an enthusiastic and customer focused people person with a strong sales aptitude and a desire to move out of a job and into a career, Ignite Travel Group has a number of exciting opportunities for Travel Sales Consultants to join their team at Broadbeach, on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fun, variety-packed role in which it will be your responsibility to sell holiday packages from incoming enquiries. You will have the opportunity to customise every package to suit the requirements of each customer. You’ll be provided with all of the training you need to become an expert in travel. My Holiday Centre is looking for individuals with fantastic sales and customer service skills and confidence talking to clients on the phone. Ideal candidates will come from the Travel Industry, or a Retail or Customer service environment, but most importantly will be your attitude, your motivation and your drive to succeed!
- Proven sales experience and the ability to work towards sales based KPIs
- A high level of communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong time management and organisational skills including multi-tasking & prioritisation of workloads,
- The ability to follow through on commitments to both customers and to our company
- Experience within the Travel sector, or using travel booking programs will be advantageous, but is not essential
- Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- An exceptional Customer focus
- Passion for the travel industry
- Flexibility is essential to cover our operating hours which are 8am-7pm EST Monday to Friday and 8am-5pm Saturday and Sunday.

During my time here I have been invited on several educational trips which has enabled me to see our hotels and experience our day tours first hand in Fiji, Vanuatu and Hawaii.
