Ignite Travel Group Directors and Management are skilled practitioners from the hospitality, tourism, technology, marketing and advertising sectors, and have played key roles in the development of market-leading enterprises.
Some of the best people from the hospitality, airline and tourism sectors now head our respective divisions for accommodation inventory acquisition, airline contracting and tourism industry relations that support both our promotional and retail travel businesses. And our marketing and creative teams continue to deliver outstanding promotions and programs to national and international clients and tourism partners. Founder and Managing Director
Founder and Managing Director of Ignite Travel Group (ITG), Randall’s passion is innovation. By the age of 25, Randall was appointed the General Manager of one of Australia’s largest private resort groups and just three years later, played a leading role in the creation of Australia’s largest publicly listed (ASX) integrated travel groups. Since launching RewardsCorp in 2005 – an innovative tourism marketing company that challenges traditional practices – Randall has continued to create and deliver unique, profitable & sustainable travel marketing solutions that have led to the unprecedented growth of Ignite Travel Group resulting in the company being awarded the fastest growing travel company for 2011 and 2012 by BRW Magazine. Testament to his success as an industry frontrunner, Randall has also been named Gold Coast Young Entrepreneur of the Year for 2 years running and continues to be recognised for his progressive business models in travel and marketing.
Chief Executive Officer
Chief Executive Officer of Ignite Travel Group (ITG). Ryan brings a wealth of leadership experience. Ryan previously held the position of Regional Managing Director (South East Asia) for G4S one of the world’s largest services providers. Ryan was responsible for eight countries, $600 million in revenue and over 50,000 employees. Prior to this Ryan was Chief Operating Officer of ITG and has a history of senior operational, legal and financial roles within public and private companies. Ryan holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce Majoring in accounting.
Finance Director at Ignite Travel Group Samuel O’Brien’s goal is to help drive strategic growth through all business streams by aligning business opportunities to every day operations. He developed his passion for travel after completing his Bachelor of Commerce at Griffith University with a move overseas. Since moving back to Australia he has added 5 years of travel industry experience at Flight Centre Travel Group in a number of roles. On top of his passion for travel he is also driven for further education having completed his CPA and ACDA as well as studying towards his CIA accreditation.
Director of Product Development
After 13 years experience in the travel industry, Rod joined Ignite Travel Group in 2013. Following a two year contract in the United Kingdom, where Rod managed the wholesale division and sales teams for Flight Centre, Rod returned to Brisbane in 2012 to head up Flight Centre Australia’s land contracting area which included contracting product for Australia, South Pacific, Asia, South Africa and UK/Europe. It was after completing his bachelor of Business Marketing in Brisbane that he decided to travel the world which was where he developed his passion for travel. Rod has joined the Ignite team as a Director of Product Development to drive the strategic direction of product recruitment.
General Manager - Holiday Exclusives
Jason Fountain has been with Ignite Travel Group since its inception and continues to provide invaluable experience in the position of Travel Operation Manager. Jason brings valuable experience from the Travel & Tourism industry after working with Starwood, Marriot, Interpacific Resorts and more as well as holding a Bachelor of business majoring in Club & Resort Management. Jason overseas the smooth operation of the largest division at Ignite Travel Group and ensures that all travel operations within the business run like a well-oiled machine.
General Manager - ICT
Since the late 90s, Conrad has been involved with the Information Technology field with a board range of hands on experience within the industry and has qualifications in Information Technology and Project Management. Conrad has focused his IT skills within the travel & tourism industry since 2004 including Mantra Resorts. Conrad joined Ignite Travel Group in 2006 and has since been successful in enabling the company to achieve more by driving IT solutions that meet the company’s overall strategy.
General Manager – RewardsCorp
Luchelle has vast high-level expertise across Strategic Business Management and has been responsible over the course of her career for launching and managing large scale sales and marketing campaigns for both national & international brands such as Beiersdorf (NIVEA, Elastoplast), LJ Hooker, Optus, Toyota and Metcash (IGA). Key aspects of her roles involve delivering competitive advantage strategies with a strong commercial focus and directing all-encompassing project management. Luchelle holds an MBA, Bachelor of Journalism and Post-Graduate in Linguistics.
Digital Marketing Manager
Digital Marketing Manager at Ignite Travel Group Richard Weyer brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the digital media industry. Richard has spent 9 years at the coal face of the global digital marketing and eCommerce industry and has conducted high level campaigns in multiple countries including Australia, United Kingdom, Italy, New Zealand & South Africa. A specialist in building digital marketing agencies & teams Richard works to ensure Ignite Travel Group and our partners get the best results possible from the digital space. Richard holds 2 degrees in marketing management & has hands on high level implementation experience in all digital media including SEO, Adwords, display adverting, video advertising, email marketing, social media advertising & many more.
Client and Creative Services Manager
Client and Creative Services Manager at Ignite Travel Group, Bianca Gordon is a marketing and advertising professional with over 10 years’ experience working with Australia’s leading advertising and media agencies, publishing houses and ASX listed companies. Bianca has lead the client service and sales team on accounts including ALDI, Ferrero, Domino’s, CBRE, Aussie Home Loans, Australian Government Department of Communications, Converse and Corona. Bianca drives our integrated communication strategy and implementation for My Holiday Centre brands, manages Ignite’s cross functional teams to create and launch new consumer lead tools and products plus leads the Rewards Corp B2B and B2C loyalty programs. Alongside her extensive industry experience Bianca holds a Bachelor of Communication (Major Marketing and Advertising).
